The Ashe County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of three individuals on charges including breaking and entering and sexual offenses.
On Feb. 4, the ACSO arrested Aubrey Clyde Edwards, 27, of Boonville on charges of breaking and entering, larceny, injury to real property, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female, and obtaining property by false pretense. Edwards is being held on a $25,000 bond.
On Feb. 4, the ACSO also arrested James Eric Settle, 40, of North Wilkesboro and charged him with breaking and entering, larceny, and injury to real property. Settle is currently being held on a $30,000 bond.
On Feb. 6, the ACSO arrested Derrick Ryan Anderson, 20, of North Wilkesboro on charges of statutory rape/sexual offense with a child older than four-years-old but younger than six-years-old. Anderson was also charged with obtaining property by false pretense. He is currently being held on an $82,500 bond.
