Other Ashe finishers in the women’s event included Margo Mattix (84th), Victoria Reed (87th), Kalyn Chapman (117th) and Carolina Trent (140th).
In the men’s race, sophomore Andrew Tedder finished in 23rd position. Tedder finished the 5,000-meter race in 19:10. Fellow sophomore Gareth Berry also had a strong run, taking 36th place in 19:27.

In addition to the invitation-only meet, there was also an open meet for other runners that were able to compete in Lenoir. Conner Donnachy placed 65th overall in the men’s open race while nine ladies took part in the run. Brooklyn Roten had the highest finishing spot in 48th place.
