Avery had three scorers in double figures to earn its second win of the year over Ashe, 50-39.
Lauren Burleson scored 17 points, Bre Heaton added 14 and Kylie Polsgrove had 12 points to pace the Vikings.
Ashe trailed by only four points at the half, 24-20, but Avery outscored the Lady Huskies 17-7 to take a 14-point advantage to the fourth quarter.
Paige Spell was the leading scorer for Ashe as she has been for most of the year. The junior had 11 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Savannah Brooks had one of her best games of the year with eight points on 4-7 shooting and six rebounds.
Sophomore Ashton Lee had six points and three boards, Morgan Hudler added five points and three assists and freshman Sydney Kate Grubb came up with five points. Hallie Brown and Chloe Sullivan finished with two points apiece.
Avery out-rebounded Ashe, 23-21 and won the turnover battle, forcing 15 Ashe turnovers while only committing 11.
Ashe dropped to 3-6 overall while Avery is now 8-3.
The Lady Huskies will be back on the court this Friday in the Colvard Oil Holiday Classic.
