For the second game in a row, Ashe County faced a halftime deficit but once again responded with a great second half to get a conference win.
Elkin took a 25-20 lead at halftime, thanks to 13 points from Kody King.
Ashe outscored the Elks 16-9 in the third quarter to take a two-point lead going to the final frame.
In the fourth, Ashe closed the door on any Elkin comeback, outscoring the visiting team by a 19-8 margin and holding King to just six points during the final two quarters of play.
The Huskies were led by a strong effort from a trio of underclassmen.
Junior forward Bradley Lucas led Ashe with 18 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Fellow junior Alex Spencer added 13 points and a game-high five offensive boards and junior point guard Connor Bowers had seven points, three rebounds and two assists.
Senior Devan Sheets had five points, Gavin Woodie scored four, Corbin Winebarger had four and Parker Shelton had four points and three steals.
Ashe shot 50-percent from the field (21-42) and committed only seven turnovers.
