Warriors end regular season

Oak Hill Academy wrapped up the regular season last week with a pair of blowout wins to enter postseason play with a 39-3 record.

On Tuesday, the Warriors took down Elite Prep Academy, 104-47.

B.J. Stith led all players with 24 points. Cody Martin and Caleb Martin each scored 18 and Rokas Gustys scored 13 points and had a team-leading 12 rebounds.

Junior point guard Terrence Phillips had 11 points and dished out eight assists and junior forward Trevor Manuel put in eight points and snagged six rebounds off the bench.

In the regular season finale on Thursday, Oak Hill beat Combine Academy from Charlotte, 82-50.

Caleb Martin had 27, Stith finished with 23 and Gustys added 13 points. Phillips handed out 14 assists and sophomore big man Rodney Miller led all Warriors with 11 rebounds.

The Warriors received an invite to play in the National High School Invitational Tournament in New York City, April 3-5. The tournament, now sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, features the top eight teams in the nation with a potential national championship on the line.

This is also the first year the tournament will be played in New York. The tournament was played in Maryland for the previous five seasons.

All games will be televised on ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN U.
