Community prepares for Hope for the Mountains

WEST JEFFERSON — Evangelist Rick Rigsby will soon lead the Hope for the Mountains Crusade from July 19-23 at Ashe County High School beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night.

The Crusade will have a different focus each night including: Hope for the Youth, Hope for the Family, Hope for the Hurting, Hope for the Church, and Hope for the Mountains.

Rigsby will be presenting a message each night of the event.

Rigsby is the founder of Rick Rigsby Ministries based in Dallas, Texas. He received his seminary training from Liberty University and has traveled worldwide to preach. Rigsby also serves as the associate pastor for Radiant Life Church in McKinney, Texas.

In addition to Rigsby’s nightly message, there will be special musical performances by Unhindered, Greater Vision, TaRanda, High Country Community Choir, and Primitive Quartet.

The event will be streamed live on SkyZhone HD Channel 1 and audio will also be streamed by The Farm WKSK of West Jefferson.
