WEST JEFFERSON — West Jefferson Mayor Dale Baldwin and Centennial Commission President Chris Barr presented Rep. Jonathon Jordan (R-Jefferson) with “West Jefferson at One Hundred” on Friday, July 24 at West Jefferson Town Hall.

“West Jefferson at One Hundred” is a tribute to the town’s past, its developers, its leaders and its citizens.

The West Jefferson Centennial Commission has partnered with the West Jefferson Tourism Development Authority to produce articles and photographs which show the town as it is now, 100 years after it came into existence as a governed municipality.

Jordan plans to distribute 170 copies of the magazine to members of the North Carolina legislature.
