ASHE COUNTY-A Grassy Creek woman accused of trying to engage in sexual conduct with a Wilkes County girl is due back in court on Nov. 16.

Pamela Dawn Ball, 37, of 321 Ball Hollow Road, faces two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

According to arrest warrants from July, Ball attempted to take immoral, improper and indecent liberties with a female under 16 years of age.

The arrest warrants do not state how the charges come about, but the victim is listed as the lone eyewitness in the investigation.

A search of the North Carolina Department of Corrections Offender database does not yield a criminal history for Ball.

Ball was scheduled to appear in Ashe County District Court in October, but her case was continued.

Ball’s spouse put up the collateral for his wife’s bond, according to the warrant.
