Thomas James Hamm, 21, of West Jefferson was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, injury to real property, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and communicating threats. Bond was set at $3,200. Hamm has not been released.


Mark Edward Miller, 33, of Creston was charged with two counts of probation violation. Miller was released on Oct. 6.


William Alex Roark, 42, of Creston was charged with two counts of probation violation. Roark was released on Oct. 11.


Scott Ashley Stout, 32, of Laurel Springs was charged with four counts of breaking and entering and two counts of larceny of a firearm. Bond information is unknown. Stout was released on Oct. 4.


Kenneth Daniel Cox, 48, of West Jefferson was charged with larceny after breaking and entering, obtaining property by false pretense, insurance fraud, misdemeanor larceny and common law forgery. Bond information is unknown. Cox was released the next day.


Oct. 1


Gregory Alan Edney, 48, of Asheville was charged with two counts of obtaining property by false pretense. Bond was set at $6,000. Edney was released later that day.


David Wayne Miller Sr., 50, of Lansing was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury. Bond information is unknown. Miller has not been released.


Kimberly Dawn Baldwin, 35, of West Jefferson was charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license and probation violation. Bond was set at $1,250. Baldwin has not been released.


Oct. 2


Steven Ray Taylor, 20, of Jefferson was charged with assault on a female, injury to personal property and injury to real property. Bond was set at $2,000. Taylor was released on Oct. 4.


Oct. 3


Dylan Mitchell Taylor, 19, of Wilkesboro was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500. Taylor has not been released.


Oct. 4


Carol Renee Main, 43, of Mountain City, Tenn., was charged with possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $700. Main was released later that day.


Oct. 5


Christopher Robert Miller, 26, of West Jefferson was charged with three counts of misdemeanor larceny, attempted larceny, resisting a public officer, possession of marijuana, driving with a revoked license and habitual impaired driving. Bond was set at $19,000. Miller has not been released.


Oct. 6


Catalina Vargas Perez, 25, of Jefferson was charged with driving while impaired and no operator’s license. Perez was released later that day.
