Ashe County High School’s Class of 2014 took center stage Friday, May 30 as seniors staged their annual “prank” and the class’s best and brightest received honors and were awarded scholarships at the Senior Awards Ceremony.

Several seniors opted to take alternative transportation to school that day, ditching their cars and trucks in favor of tractors and lawnmowers. It’s okay, they all followed school protocol and were sure to park in their designated spots with proper permits.

ACHS will bid farewell to this year’s senior class Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m.
