Former Husky Zeb Richardson and the 17th ranked Guilford Quakers have a nine-game winning streak to open the season. The only loss for Guilford this year was an exhibition game against Coastal Carolina that does not count against its overall record.

The Quakers are 9-0 and 3-0 in conference play.

Most recently, Guilford was an 84-78 winner over N.C. Wesleyan on Dec. 17. Richardson moved back into the starting lineup and recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, including a game-high five offensive boards.

Richardson scored nine points and had nine rebounds in 29 minutes against Methodist and a final stat line of 16 points, nine rebounds and four blocks against Shenandoah in his other game this December.

The Quakers get back on the court in the Coaches Classic in Ashland, Va. Guilford will play Dickinson College on Saturday, Dec. 28 and then Birmingham Southern the very next day to wrap up the schedule of 2013 games.
