Ashe County Head Coach Daniel Waln and his junior varsity boys' team continue to pile up the wins against Mountain Valley Conference foes.

The Huskies were too strong for North Wilkes last week, beating the Vikings, 66-30.

Sophomore big man Stanton Moore had 12 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman James Bittle scored 12 points and pulled down 11 boards.

Malachi Poe had 11 points, CoCo Clay scored 11, Judd Price had eight and Dante Shuler scored eight.

On Tuesday, Ashe had its most dominant win of the season, pounding East Wilkes, 88-11.

Clay poured in 25 points, Poe had 17 and Tristen Jones scored 10. Moore had eight, Shuler had eight, Price scored seven, Bittle added six and Kris Lonidier had four.

Ashe is now 15-3 overall and undefeated in conference play.

The Huskies have three games lined up for next week. Ashe will host Starmount on Monday, travel to Wilkes Central on Tuesday and host West Wilkes on Thursday to conclude the JV season.
