It was a tough two days of hoops action for the Huskies, dropping a pair of important conference games as the regular season winds down and playoff aspirations are on the line.

The Rams outscored Ashe in all four quarters and got a big game from Kyler Gregory to get the season sweep over the Huskies.

Gregory had 16 points and snagged eight rebounds. Trey Bryant scored 12 points and grabbed nine boards and guard Luke Shore scored 12 points.

The Huskies did not have anybody to reach double-figure scoring, but three came within one point of it. Connor Bowers, Bradley Lucas and Devan Sheets each scored nine. Cullen Ashley had six, Alex Spencer scored three, Corbin Winebarger scored three, Gavin Woodie had two and Parker Shelton hit one free throw.

Sheets and Ashley were Ashe’s two seniors this year and both were honored before the game for their hard work and dedication to the basketball program.
