The Oak Hill Academy Warriors moved to 35-3 overall with three home wins and a road triumph in the last week of action.


Last Tuesday, the Warriors traveled to Thomasville to take on New Hope Christian Academy.


Led by 28 points from senior B.J. Stith, the Warriors grabbed an 84-65 win. Caleb Martin scored 20 points and had seven rebounds. Cody Martin added 12 points, Rodney Miller had nine points and Terrence Phillips dished out a game-high 10 assists.


Next up, the Warriors had three straight games at home.


Hamilton Heights Christian Academy traveled to Mouth of Wilson, Va., on Friday and left with a 27-point defeat. Oak Hill won 77-50.


Caleb Martin led a balanced scoring night with 15 while his twin brother Cody scored 13. Senior center Rokas Gustys had 13 points and 10 rebounds, Stith finished with 11 and Miller had six points and six boards. Kem Ubaru scored six points off the bench and Phillips handed out six assists.


In a huge rematch game on Saturday, the Warriors avenged a loss to Winston-Salem’s Quality Education Academy by pounding the visitors, 99-54. QEA won the previous matchup in Winston, 68-48.


Stith and Caleb Martin had 21 points each. Cody Martin had 17, Gustys had 12 points and 12 boards and Phillips had eight points, eight assists and six rebounds.


Most recently, Oak Hill blasted Prominence Academy from Durham by a 98-65 score.


Cody Martin filled up the stat sheet with 27 points, six rebounds, six assists, five blocks and five steals. Stith added 23 points and six boards, Tony Anderson had 14 points, Gustys had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Phillips added 14 assists.


Meet the team


Oak Hill Academy, home of the nationally acclaimed Warriors basketball team, will be hosting a “Meet our Gold Team” fundraising event on the Oak Hill campus this Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m.


This event will revolve around the home game against Faith Baptist Academy.


Your first ticket may be purchased for a $100 donation and each additional ticket purchased for your family or group will be $50.


Participants will receive a reserved seat at the game, an autographed Oak Hill basketball media guide, an Oak Hill Academy t-shirt, and the opportunity to meet the team and coaches at a reception following the game.


During the reception there will be photo opportunities with the players and a drawing for an autographed game ball.


The event is limited to the first 50 people who reserve a seat.


Oak Hill’s campus is located on Highways 16 and 58 in Mouth of Wilson, Va.
