The Husky Varsity Cheerleaders held a stunt camp for youth in Ashe County last Saturday.
Girls who attended the camp got a chance to experience stunting and develop their skills.
The beginner group got used to being in the air and trusting the girls beneath them. The intermediate group worked on specific skills and fundamentals of stunting while the advanced group worked on high school level stunts and tosses.
The high school cheerleaders enjoyed sharing their love of stunting and hope to do more camps similar to this one in the future.
Ashe County Head Coach Cynthia Harless also enjoyed being able to reach out to the youth in the community and being able to give them the opportunity to experience the sport of cheerleading.
