Despite 90-degree tempertures and high humidity levels, the team went undefeated in bracket play to secure a first place finish. Ashe County's own Brianna McCoy (11) was chosen as MVP as well as Samantha West from Maiden. Brianna also was selected for the NC NSA All-Tournment team along with her catcher, Taylor Leatherman from Cherryville. Congratulations to the team for this victory.
