The first annual “Queens of the Court” volleyball camp brought in 36 young ladies to learn, improve skills and have fun playing volleyball at Ashe County High School.

Campers were of all ages between rising fourth graders through rising 10th graders. The three-day camp, directed by varsity volleyball coach Lindsey Williams and junior varsity coach Jennifer Wilkinson, taught the girls the proper fundamentals of serving, passing, hitting, and blocking.

There were also several competitions for campers to compete in, including a serving and passing event, as well as a three-on-three tournament.

Coach Williams and the rest of the camp staff would like to thank the parents for their help and support, as well as Ashe County Cheese and Tanya Hudler for taking pictures.
