Arrests made in November robberies

Arrests have been made in three breaking and entering cases that occurred in November in Ashe County.

Tim Eastridge, age 31, of Warrensville, has been arrested and charged with break-ins at the homes of Richard Yearick and Cody Anderson. Eastridge is currently free on a $25,000 bond.

Dennis Duane Combs, age 31, of Claybank in West Jefferson, has been arrested and charged with a November break-in of the Christina Schinn residence. He is free on a $15,000 bond.

A large part of the items stolen has been recovered.

The Ashe County Sheriff’s Office has also recovered a 1977 GMC truck stolen from Wilkes County on Dec. 29. The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office is completing this investigation.
