An overturned trailer hauling a boom lift halted traffic at the intersection of N.C. 194 and N.C. 88 in Warrensville at 1:30 p.m. today.
The Warrensville Volunteer Fire Department and State Highway Patrol quickly responded to the call.
According to a member of the fire department, no one was injured during the accident, and no other vehicles were damaged. However, the overturned trailer caused some minor road damage at the intersection.
It took nearly an hour to turn the trailer and boom lift right-side-up using a heavy duty wrecker.
The accident happened to coincide with road work in the area, causing a traffic bottleneck in the Warrensville area.
