Volleyball head coach Lindsey Williams will be hosting the annual “Queens of the Court” camp at Ashe County High School.
The camp is for rising fourth graders through rising 10th graders and will be split up into two different groups. Fourth through sixth graders will be at camp from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and seventh through 10th graders will be in attendance from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.
The cost for this year’s camp is $50 for those that pre-register and $60 if you choose to register on the first day of camp. For those ninth and 10th graders who are attending the Players Edge camp, you can pre-register for this camp for just $40.
Players will develop their individual volleyball skills, including overhand serving, passing, setting, hitting and blocking. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of competitions that will take place within each specific age group.
Campers need to bring tennis shoes and are strongly encouraged to wear knee pads. Campers may also want to bring snacks and drinks for breaks during camp.
Coach Williams asks that you mail all registration forms and a $25 dollar deposit by June 1. Checks can be made payable to Lindsey Williams.
