Sunday, Sept. 30, is the deadline to vote in the Jefferson Post’s “Cutest Pet” online contest.
You can also submit an entry until Sept. 30, but voting will cease at 11:59 p.m.
Go on www.jeffersonpost.com and check out the many cute pet photos uploaded under the Cutest Pet Contest. Dogs, cats, rabbit…is your cutie on there? There’s room for lots more. Birds, gerbils, ferrets, alpacas (what’s not cute about an alpaca), horses, goats, you name it, maybe even snakes if you think your snake is the “cutest,” maybe others will as well.
Submission and voting are free, so add your pet to the site and earn the chance to win $100 and bragging rights for your pet as “king” or “queen” of the cutest in the land.
If you have participated in previous contests and have a user name and password, that’s all you need to log in and get started. For new users, simply click www.jeffersonpost.com and look for the Cutest Pet Contest graphic. Click on that and follow the registration directions.
Sign up using your Facebook account to compete against your Facebook friends and post your activity. Enter your mobile phone number to receive alerts.
Contestants may submit multiple entries. Submissions will only be accepted from the owner of the pet that is the subject of the photo. In the event that a photo includes multiple subjects and one or more subjects are not the pet of the individual submitting the submission, the submission may be subject to removal at the verified request of the owner of another subject included within the submission.
You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible to submit photos or to vote in the contest.
Voting for the entries is taking place now, so go online now and vote for your favorite before 11:59 p.m. Sept. 30.

Employees of Heartland Publications or its affiliate, participating advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
