Lady Huskies’ head coach Laura Foster, as well as current players at the high school will be hosting the annual Girls Got Game basketball camp in June.

Camp starts June 18 and lasts through June 20 from 9 a.m. until noon each day.

If you pre-register for camp, the cost will be $50. If you choose to register at the door, the camp fee will be $60. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

Campers will develop and improve individual skills while working hard and having fun.

The camp is open to any girl from rising first graders through rising eighth graders.

For those rising eighth graders that attended the Catawba College Team Camp with the Lady Huskies, the camp fee will be reduced to $25.

Campers need to bring their basketball shoes and may want to bring extra money for concessions that will be sold each day during break.

At the end of the camp, contests will be held in several different competitions including Hot Shot, free throw shooting, dribbling and one-on-one games. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each competition.

Registration forms can be downloaded off of the ACHS Athletics website, picked up at any of the elementary schools or at Ashe County High School.
