Ashe County Farmers’ Market opens
Cliff Clark | Jefferson Post Fish offered at the Ashe County Farmers’ Market. Doug Munroe, owner of Waterfall Farm in Warrensville, offered customers fresh-caught trout Saturday morning. He pulled them from his stocked pond earlier that morning. Curly Perzel (left) spent some time discussing the big turnout at the opening of the market with Ann Rose, the owner of Rose Mountain Farm and Butcher Shoppe. Rose said the opening day was busy and encouraging.
