Work crews began phase two of West Jefferson’s downtown streetscaping project today, said Town Manager Brantley Price. Redesign of intersections at South Jefferson Avenue and First Street, and South Jefferson Avenue and State Street, will be patterned after the pedestrian-friendly bump-outs completed at other downtown intersections last year, he said.
