Hagel Memorial Golf Tournament tees off April 26

Area golfers all know the arrival of spring means it’s time for the Carl and Pearl Hagel Memorial Golf Tournament at Mountain Aire Golf Club.This year’s event, the 19th annual tournament, is scheduled for Saturday, April 26. All proceeds will go to directly benefit the Ashe County Free Medical Clinic.The format is captain’s choice with two shotgun starts scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A $75 entry fee covers green and cart fees plus a fabulous meal. Mulligans can also be purchased. Finally, there’s an opportunity to win a one year free membership at Mountain Aire Golf Club and a new car.
