Candice Pauline Miller, 59, of Avery Lane, North Wilkesboro, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem following a brief illness.
She was born January 30, 1948 in Wilkes County, a daughter of the late Arthur Miller and Myrtle Bare Miller. She worked with Tyson Foods and was a homemaker. She was a member of Piney Ridge Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wade, Albert and Calvin Miller.
Survivors include: a daughter, Deborah Weaver of North Wilkesboro; two sons, Kenneth Ray Miller of North Wilkesboro and Ricky Dale Mash of Washington State; a sister, Lula Mae Miller and husband, Rayvon, of Millers Creek; four brothers, Dean Miller and wife, Rosie, and Ed Miller, all of North Wilkesboro, Ted Miller and wife, Bonnie, of Millers Creek, and Gilbert Miller and wife, Myrtle, of Arizona; four grandchildren, Kendall Weaver, Landon Weaver, Brittany Miller and Cynthia Miller.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at Piney Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Lane Roark and Rev. Dean Rector officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers included Scott Miller, Michael Miller, Billy Ray Miller, Gwen Miller, Melvin Miller and Kenneth Miller.
The family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, prior to the service.
