Chandler Christensen scored eight points, Jessica Walker and Lizzie Hanes scored seven points each, Amber Monroe and Charity Shatley added six points each, Cara Church scored five points, and Brittany Lyalls scored two points for the Huskies.
Following the victory, Coach Bobby Hudler was ecstatic with the Huskies season and commented: “I am really proud of the girls and they are very deserving of the conference title. They have worked and played hard all season and they have the attitude of wanting to practice, learn, and improve.” After congratulating Coach Hudler on his second straight conference title (a first for a Husky coach), Hudler stated: “What makes a good coach is good players, and this team is full of great players who have a good chemistry as a team, and that can not be taught.”
