Died April 21, 2008
Laura Mae Roland passed away peacefully at Margate Health & Rehab Center on April 21, 2008. She spent the last eight years at Margate where she considered it home and was treated like family.
Laura married Ronnie W. Roland of Warrensville in 1968. He predeceased her. They operated a produce and trucking company together from Ashe County, NC. They loved to travel to the North Carolina coast and Florida.
Laura Mae is survived by: Eileen K.Chapman, daughter, and son in law, Michael K. Chapman from Newark, Del. She is also survived by Gladys Roland, her mother- in-law of Warrensville, NC. She is survived by John A Gorecki, brother-in-law from her first marriage to Joseph J. Gorecki of Wilmington, Del.
There are also one niece and four nephews from different parts of the country.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date and time in Ashe County.
