This is a follow up obituary of May 6, 2008. A memorial service will take place in the chapel at Margate Health & Rehab in Jefferson at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 21, 2008.
Eileen and Mike Chapman, daughter and son-in-law to Laura Mae deeply appreciate the care and love that all of the staff of Margate have given Laura in the past eight years. We also thank Hospice for the care they gave Laura and the family toward the end of her life.
A special thanks to Dr. Edward Miller and others who helped decide what was fitting to Laura’s quality of life. We also appreciate all the preparations and guidance Badger Funeral Home has given.
Laura Mae’s wish was to be cremated and have her ashes spread over the mountains she loved so much.
