Tracy Lane Sheets, 29, of Jefferson, was arrested and charged with nine counts of B-1 felony sexual offense, and two counts of Class F felony indecent liberties with a minor, involving a female victim.
A first court appearance took place last week and a probable cause hearing scheduled for this week has been continued until July.
The case is being investigated by Cpt. Carolyn Gentry with the Ashe County Sheriff’s Department.
