Christopher Douglas Greer, better known as “Chris”, age 35, of Todd, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Ashe Memorial Hospital from an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.D. Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greer Family Cemetery in Todd.
The family received friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Greer was born in Ashe County on May 22, 1973 to Roger Leon Greer and Betty Walton Greer. He was a CNA at Hillview Family Care Center in Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Katrina (Trina) Beth Turner Greer, of the home; two sons, Christopher Gabriel Greer and Randall Leon Isaac Greer, both of the home; his parents, Roger and Betty Greer, of West Jefferson; a sister, Mechelle Greer, of Taylorsville; and his best friend, Troy Medley of Todd, also survives.
