With two more victory tallies added in the win column, the Dr Pepper team has increased their win total to 10 for the season, and still has not suffered a loss. Dr Pepper is one win away from securing the coveted first place seed heading into the tournament starting next week. Dr Pepper was able to defeat the Diamondbacks on Tuesday 25-14 in six innings, then they defeated Mountain Advantage 20-8 last Thursday.

Heading into the final set of games (which was held on Thursday evening), Dr Pepper had to win one of two games to claim first place for the season. Mountain Advantage is trailing them in second place with two losses on the season, and had to defeat Dr Pepper Thursday evening, along with the Dirty South Fishing Team to defeat Dr Pepper also to create a tie for first place with both teams having two losses on the season.

The games that were scheduled for Monday evening were rescheduled to Thursday evening following the inclement weather on Monday. As of Press Time, the results of Thursday’s games were unavailable. Check in Tuesday’s edition of the Jefferson Post for a full report of the standings and tournament pairings for the double-elimination tournament.
