Hash, Greer exchange vows in Scottish ceremony

Jennifer Rose Hash and Jerome Elbert Greer exchanged vows in a Scottish wedding ceremony on May 24 at New River Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Jones and the Rev. Harry Osborne officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Doris Seymore of Grassy Creek and the granddaughter of Bill and Rose Hash of Grassy Creek and the late Charles Brinegar and Mozella Brinegar of Jefferson.

The groom is the son of Larry and Ginger Greer of Beaver Creek and the grandson of Jerry and Faye Osborne of Mouth of Wilson, Va., and Tom and Beth Seymore of Wagner and Clarence and Myrtle Greer of West Jefferson.

Honor grandparents are Cliff and Pat Brinegar of West Jefferson.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Bill Hash. April Miller served as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Megan Bower, Edith Ledezma, Kelly Hobbs and Tonya Rupard.

The groom was served by his father, Larry Greer, as best man and groomsmen were Josh Greer, David Wood and Joe Goodman.

Stacy Greer served as greeter and ushers were Billy Andrew Hash and Gregory Crouse. Flower girls were Sierra Greer and Timber Hobbs and junior bridesmaids were Sarah Seymore and Savannah Greer.

A reception was held at the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Scottish music was provided by David VanHoy. Ellen Reedy directed the wedding and Johnny Canter and Joey Pollard served as grillmasters. Fawn Roark provided photography.

The bride is employed with Jefferson Drug and the groom works at Ashe Builders Supply.
