Appalachian’s annual Fan Fest is set to be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Kidd Brewer Stadium. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. with ASU’s final intrasquad scrimmage of the preseason set for 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Activities for fans of all ages will be available from 4-6 p.m., including autographs and pictures with Mountaineer players and coaches, a youth skills clinic led by Appalachian players, face-painting by ASU cheerleaders, an inflatable park for youngsters and an exclusive sale of uniforms and travel gear previously worn by your favorite Mountaineers. The latest in Black and Gold attire from the ASU Bookstore will also be available to purchase on site.

At 6 p.m., the Mountaineers will take the field for their final full-team tune-up before the Aug. 30 season opener at LSU. The ASU Marching Mountaineers, cheerleaders and Yosef will all be on hand to prepare the players and fans alike for The Rock’s raucous gameday atmosphere.
