Kristen Michelle Call and Stephen Troy Staley were united in marriage on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Dr. Dennis Love officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony. The Rev. Wayne Osborne gave a prayer for the couple. Ms. Ginna Bennett of Wilkesboro read scripture. Wedding music was provided by the Pilgrim Baptist Church Adult Choir and Ruby Wayne, organist.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Carolyn Call of Ivy Trace, Wilkesboro. She is a May 2008 cum laude graduate of Campbell University, with a bachelor of arts degree in education. She was secretary of SNCAE and the College Republicans, and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Epsilon Pi Eta honor societies. The bride is employed by the Harnett County School System as a kindergarten teacher at Coats Elementary School.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Call and Charles Woodie, all of Wilkesboro, and the late Mrs. Lois Woodie.

The groom is the son of Carson and Robin Staley of Jefferson. He is a May 2008 magna cum laude graduate of Campbell University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He was president of the College Republicans and was a member of Epsilon Pi Etta Pi Alpha Theta, Pi Gamma Mu, Sigma Alpha, and Pi Alpha Delta honor societies. The groom is a first year law student at Campbell University School of Law.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Hamm of Lansing, Mrs. Alma Staley of Wilkesboro and the late Warren Staley.
