Greater L.A. Fest in Lansing this weekend

Enjoy free admission (donations welcome) to the 13th Annual Greater L.A. Festival in Lansing Sept. 9-10 at the American Legion Ball Field on N.C. 194N. Featuring Ralph Stanley II, the festival has a great lineup of music and activities for the whole family.

The festival hours are 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Sponsored by the Lansing Volunteer Fire Department and Lansing American Legion, the festival offers music, food, vendors and lots of family fun. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and barbecue chicken and other items. Camping is available.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket for the music. Friday night features gospel from 6-9 p.m. The lineup for Saturday includes:

1 p.m. Keith Noblett & Friends

2 p.m. Pam Barlow

7 p.m. Ralph Stanley II
