Little Theatre presents 'A Streetcar Named Desire'

To celebrate the 100th birthday of Tennessee Williams, Ashe County Little Theatre is presenting his Pulitzer Prize winning play, ‘A Streetcar Named Desire.’ The cast includes Linda Dreyer as Blanche, Maureen Klinedinst as Stella, Barry Aldridge as Stanley, Jeff Dreyer as Mitch, Jerome Roman as Steve, Judy Mullen as Eunice, Les Miller as Pablo, Helen Kilby as the Nurse, and Gary Lee as the Doctor. Performances are Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. All seats are reserved and may be purchased at the Ashe Arts Council or by calling 846-ARTS (2787) with a major credit card. The play contains adult themes and language and may not be suitable for children.
