Thomas Ted Miller, age 73, of Miamisburg, OH passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Miller.
Mr. Miller was born to the late Fred and Bonnie Miller, formerly of Ashe County.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle M. Ramsay, and Jack Jackson of Covington, OH; sons, Kevin A. Grace and wife, Joan Fenton, of Cincinnati, OH, Shawn T. and wife, Debra Miller, of Middletown, OH, Eric J. and wife, Julie Miller, of Springfield, OH; stepsons, Jim and wife, Suphun Bowling, and James Lester; stepdaughter, Tonya Lester; 17 grandchildren, among them being Brandi and April Clayton; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Robert and wife, Carol Miller, of South Carolina, Dean and wife, Margaret Miller, of Miller’s Creek, NC; sister, Marie and husband, Robert Spencer, of Miller’s Creek, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ted served our country in the US Army from 1954-1958. He spent many years at Miami Dickerson before retiring from Frederick’s Steel.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH. Family received friends from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment took place at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, OH.
