All arrests were made by the Ashe County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Division, according to a press release issued by Williams.
Michael James Dishman, 30, of West Jefferson, was arrested on April 16, 2012 and charged with possession of cocaine, and possession with intent to sell cocaine.
Dishman is currently being held in the Ashe County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
William Roby Hicks, 62, of West Jefferson, was arrested on April 16, 2012 and charged with three counts of trafficking opium.
Hicks has been released on bond and is awaiting his probable cause hearing in Ashe County District Court.
Richard Edward Barnhill, 43, and Richard Carlton Barnhill, 20, both of West Jefferson, were arrested on April 19.
The father and son pair were each charged with trafficking opium, and conspiracy to traffic opium.
The Barnhill's have each had their first appearance, and are being held in the Ashe County Detention Center.
The elder Barnhill is held on $24,900 bond, while Richard Carlton Barnhill is held on $100,000 bond.
