Mr. Price was born July 31, 1949, in Ashe County to the late Joseph Marion and Wanda Ruth Houck Price. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Price.
Survivors include his wife, Quentina Steele Price of the home; a daughter, Quenna Price Moutselos of Stanley; a brother, Steve Price of Burke, Va.; and a granddaughter, Lila Moutselos.
A memorial service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at Eaton Funeral Chapel, Mocksville with Mr. Les Steele officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be considered for charity of donor’s choice.
