Jeffery Scott Burgess
Mr. Jeffery Scott Burgess of West Jefferson died June 1, 2012. He was 47.
Mr. Burgess was born Sept. 10, 1964 in Ashe County to the late Charles Ralph and Mary Sue Bare Burgess Baker.
Mr. Burgess is survived by one son, Jason Burgess of West Jefferson; two daughters, Ashley Michelle Burgess of Jefferson and Violet Elizabeth Burgess of Salisbury; four brothers, Roy Burgess of Mocksville, Charles Burgess of Salisbury, Kevin Burgess and Rex Burgess, both of Jefferson; two sisters, Alena Felts of McGrady and Polly Ann Eastridge of Ennis; two grandchildren, Keaton Ryder Burgess and Caleb Aiden Day; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, at Mt. Jefferson Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3 p.m. prior to the service.
