The Ashe County women’s golf team will hit the links for five regular season matches before playoff action begins.
Play begins on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Mountain Aire Golf Course in West Jefferson for the team’s only home match.
The following week, the Mountain Valley Conference teams will head to High Meadows Golf Club in Roaring Gap on Sept. 19.
Cedarbrook Country Club in Elkin will be the site for the third conference match of the season, taking place on Sept. 26.
The final two matches of the regular season will be Oct. 3 and Oct. 10. The first match will take place at Silo Run Golf Course in Boonville while the second one will be at Oakwoods Country Club in Wilkesboro.
High Meadows will be the home for this year’s MVAC Tournament, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 17. Regional play begins Oct. 22 while the state tournament will be Oct. 29-30.
