Ashburn's grandfather, John Cox, ran the Todd Mercantile Store during the railroad years between 1910 and 1933.
"There were many interesting happenings during this time period," said Ashburn.
"These stories are historical, but most are filled with side-splitting laughter...some are just downright unbelievable," said Ashburn.
Ashburn will appear upstairs at the Todd Mercantile Store on Thursdays throughout July except on July 19, at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free. Reservations are not required, but suggested for best seating.
