The 2012 Little League season concluded recently, and six champions were crowned.
The Yankees swept both the Major League boys and girls’ championships. The Westwood Yankees took the title in the boys’ division while the Blue Ridge Yankees took the title in the girls’ division.
In the boys’ Minor League group, the Westwood Reds took first place while the Westwood Cardinals took the top spot in the Minor League girls’ division.
The Coach Pitch champions were the Mountain View Braves on the boys’ side and the Blue Ridge Orioles on the girls’ side.
Photos were available of all teams except for the Blue Ridge Yankees. Team members for that team were Chloe Sullivan, Abby Sullivan, Cheyene Brewer, Laura Calhoun, Kendra Rupard, Maddison Warner, Hailey Miller, McKayla Blevins, Morgan Shatley, Sierra Walton and Chetola Greer. The team was coached by Glen Sullivan, Randy Calhoun, and Chris Miller.
