Miranda Cherie Russell
Miranda Cherie Russell of West Jefferson died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. She was 23.
Ms. Russell was born Nov. 29, 1988 in Boone to Candace “Charlie” Russell Roten.
Ms. Russell is survived by her son,Tucker Charles Miller; her parents, Mike and Charlene “Charlie” Roten of West Jefferson; one brother, Andrew James Russell of Jefferson; one sister, Brittney Roten of West Jefferson; paternal grandparents, J. R. and Bracel Roten of West Jefferson; maternal grandparents, Luther and Carol Russell of West Jefferson; a best friend, Karissa Love of Wilkesboro; a special dog, “Carlos”; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at Badger Funeral Home by the Rev. Tim Roten. The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. prior to the service.
