On July 16, a resident of South Big Horse Creek Road reported was arrested on drug violations (equipment/paraphernalia) and possession of a concealed weapon. During the arrest, digital scales, a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue, a pack of JOB rolling papers, a metal spoon, plastic baggies, a Taurus .357 pistol and four .357 bullets were seized. The case is closed and cleared by arrest.

On July 19, a resident of Big Flatts Moretz Road in Fleetwood reported a larceny to the ACSO. During the incident, a 2008 Haul Mark travel trailer was allegedly stolen. No other details reported. The case is under further investigation.

On July 19, a resident of Nikanor Road in West Jefferson reported a burglary (forcible entry) and larceny to the ACSO. During the incident an HP laptop computer, valued at $600, was allegedly stolen. The case is under further investigation.

On July 19, a resident of NC 16 in Crumpler reported a burglary (forcible entry) and larceny to the ACSO. During the incident, an orange weed-eater, valued at $319, and a child’s piggy bank, valued at $100, was allegedly stolen. The case is under further investigation.

On July 20, a resident of Big Windfall Road in Lansing reported a criminal damage to property (vandalism) to the ACSO. During the incident, a mailbox, valued at $40, was allegedly damaged. The case is under further investigation.

On July 21, the ACSO arrested at least one suspect on Cranberry Creek Road in Laurel Springs on charges of simple physical assault when the suspects hit each other. The case is closed and cleared by arrest.

During the incident, the suspect allegedly spit on a police officer, resisted arrest, and was in possession of marijuana. The case is closed and cleared by arrest.

On July 24, a resident of Mile High Lake Road reported a fraud (obtaining money/property by false pretense) to the ACSO. During the incident, a victim was allegedly double billed when building a home. No other details reported. The case is under further investigation.

On July 25, a resident of Frank Dillard Road in West Jefferson reported a criminal damage to property (vandalism) to the ACSO. During the incident, a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee was allegedly damaged. The case is under further investigation.
