Mr. Robert Birl Miller of Warrensville died on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at his residence. He was 70.
Mr. Miller was born on Aug. 26, 1942, in Ashe County to William Worth and Aulsie Stidhams Miller.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents; sister; Illene Miller; and brother, Roy Earl Miller.
Mr. Miller loved to coon and bobcat hunt. He enjoyed working with his farm animals and dogs. He was a generous and giving person and he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Miller is survived by daughter, Chrissy Grady of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, Michael Miller of Helton, Vernie Miller of Whitetop, Va., Kenneth Miller of Pa.; seven sisters, Tina Blevins, Debbie Miller, Betty Ellis, Theresa Miller, all of Lansing, Myrlean Hufford of West Grove, Pa., Brenda Eller of Mouth Of Wilson, Va., Elizabeth Miller of West Jefferson; two grandchildren, Kyle Grady, Emily Grady; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at the Badger Funeral Home by Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial will follow in Pennington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon - 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Badger Funeral Home.
