Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 28 at New Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Greer and the Rev. David Lyalls officiating. Burial followed in the Miller Family Cemetery.
The family received friends on Sunday, Dec. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Everett was born in Ashe County on Jan. 20, 1918 to the late Jonathan and Amanda Greer Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by: one son, Bruce Miller of Lansing; one daughter, Mary Ellis and husband, Guy, of Lansing: one brother, Adam Miller of West Grove, PA; one sister, Annie Stanley of Lansing; one grandson, Adam Miller of Lansing; and several nieces and nephews.
