Registration day is this Saturday, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. until noon at Family Central. Players can also register at Family Central Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The final cut off date for registration will be March 5.
Anyone ages 3 to 15 are welcome to sign up. There will be four divisions of competition this year, and a draft to determine the teams.
The draft will take place on March 6 at the Family Central soccer field. The 7-and-under draft will take place at 10 a.m., followed by the 11-and-under draft at noon and the 15-and-under draft at 2:00 p.m.
A rain date of March 13 for the draft has been set in case of inclement weather.
Also, Ashe County Little League is in need of umpires for the 2010 baseball and softball season. If you are interested in being an umpire, call Jeff Walters at 336-977-6892.
