Funeral services were held Friday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at West Jefferson United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kirk McNeill officiating.
The family received friends on Thursday, April 1, from 7-9 p.m. at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County to the late Caleb Ennis and Matilda Diana Roark Osborne. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by: three sons, Dick Miller and wife, Barbara, of West Jefferson, Jimmy Miller and wife, Debbie, of Jefferson, and Dr. Johnny Miller and wife, Judy, of Pine Hurst; a daughter, Dianna Cope and husband, Ronnie, of West Jefferson; a sister, Helen Miller of Jefferson; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
